Gerli Padar - Lotte

Lotte from Gadgetville is a famous and popular character from an Estonian animated film by Heiki Ernits and Janno Põldma. Lotte is a sunny and impetuous dog girl, she is infinitely friendly and has a rich imagination. She lives with her father and mother in Gadgetville - a habitat of many inventors.

In November 2008 Gerli was asked to play the leading role in the Estonian children's musical "Detective Lotte" staged at the Vanemuine Theater.

The audience loved the musical and they didn’t have to wait for too long for the sequal.

Gerli has entertainedchildren as Lotte in addition in Ireland, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and several places in the United States. The most memorable performance for Gerli took place in the Kennedy Centre, Washington.

Gerli put together a solo performance for the United States’ tour in English that was based on the stories and animated films by Heiki Ernits and Janno Põldma.
